Therefore for those who likes to eat murtabak...I will share with you how easy we can make mini murtabak. Mini murtabak can be made by using spring roll pastry. Fist you make the filler with any thing you like. Here I used sardine and also mince meat. You need to cook the mince meat with some potatoes or carrot if you like. You add curry power and make it like paste filler. Mix this filler with one egg and mix it well.

Put the filler in the center of the spring roll pastry. With a cake brush, applied white egg around the spring roll pastry to act as a binder. After that you folded the spring roll pastry or 'kulit popia' into square shape. After that you fried the instant mini murtabak on pan, add some vegetable oil or for healthy cooking used virgin coconut oil. Fried the mini murtabak until the outer layer look brown and the inside feel firm. This can be tested by piercing the murtabak with a fork. If it is firm , I'm sure it done. You can eat the mini murtabak with chicken, or meat curry. Yes today 11/03/07 , I make this mini murtabak.

Try how easy it is. See my picture here. yum...yum...mmmm...
