Telemarketing : Retain Your Customers

I received a call today from my insurance agent remind me that my car's insurance is going to expired soon and she informed me that if I renew the insurance at her agency, there are some special gift waiting for me. So at which agent that I will renew my car insurance ?. For sure from this agency !.

This real experience for me to demonstrate that how telemarketing was used to retain ones customer. According to wikipedia;"Telemarketing is a method of direct marketing in which a salesperson uses the telephone to solicit prospective customers to buy products or services, either over the phone or through a subsequent face to face or Web conferencing appointment scheduled during the call."

Therefor ,even though we living in information and internet age, telemarketing some how is effective to gain leads and retained our customers. I this important because we are human, we tend to forget something, thus by giving a simple call to your customers, you can expend your business and also retain our customers.

In addition to that, by offering some gift , something that can 'cover up' the disturbance call that we have made to our customers. Thus, telemarketing is still a good marketing approached today.
