Yes gold is predicted to rise up to 5000 usd in the next couple of years that some gold analyzer predict. With the current economic and currency, I also believe that this going to happen, or may be sooner...

Gold The Untimate Investment Today
As people always said Gold is Gold, Time is Gold and gold always shining regardless of time..Yes if you want to invest and making money for long term you better buy and keep gold. I mean gold bars because the price of gold always rising every minutes now!. People around the especially in China and India are buying a lot of gold now. Thus the price of gold rise sharply around the globe.
The gold prices rise almost 20% per year, thus for me it is above of other investment and the beauty of it , all people around the world can accept gold and not currency !. That why if you have money try to buy some and keep it or if you what to save money buy gold don't keep as currency. I think some of knows what happened to some bank around the globe once the west economy collapse, the currency, real estate, share and many other also goes down with it ....but not GOLD..The gold price rise up during inflation or what ever situation ! .
Thus gold is the best investment for long term and also short term.
